Why Food Relationships are the Best of All

That glorious sound of a new bag of chips being open. The anticipation as you watch your waitress shuffle her way through the tables with your glorious plate of food your'e about to demolish. This, my friends, is the love of food. And today, we are here to discuss why food is above all. Disclaimer: I've noticed I take way too many photos of food and also embarrassing photos with food. However, I shall spread the word because food is life. Also, I'm really sorry if I made you hungry after looking at all this food.

1. Food Can't Talk Back to You

(Can you even complain about that?)

2. It Can't Break Your Heart (unless you run out of course)

(Why not treat yourself to some overpriced very fancy macaroons?)

3. It'll always be only a walk away. (Or a short drive).

(My love for boneless chicken is a real love people, this is not a drill).

4. Pizza = Cheaper than significant others gifts.

(I mean we clearly know what's a better decision right?)

5. There's a story behind every noodle.

(Food is so significant to cultures. What better way to learn than to eat?)

6. Grubhub is reliable and almost always on time.

(Oh Grubhub, you never fail me).

7. It might not cuddle but it'll give you fat to keep you warmer at night.

(Ah, nothing like completing a whole jar of pickles right before bed).

8. It gives you an excuse to go to Wegmans.

(This photo is only slightly embarrassing but I'm doing it for the food man. But the most important question is why did I feel compelled to take this?)

9. It's always there to subside your boredom.

(You can NEVER go wrong with a Five Guys burger kids).

10. It can't yell at you for not replying to its text messages.

(Which is much appreciated).

11. It's always going to want to hang out while you're binge watching Netflix.

(Cupcake after cupcake after cupcake after cupcake. . .)

12. Food doesn't tell you you're eating too much. (Unless you have a food baby).

(But let's be honest. We get hungry about 30 minutes after eating).

13. Sometimes it's healthy so you feel bad ass after eating it.

(My cart doesn't usually look like this).

14. You rely on it to survive. You don't need no man to survive.

(And thank the food gods above we need this goodness in our lives).

15. It's there without judgement when you're having a midnight meltdown.

(Or when you just want to eat so much your stomach explodes).

16. It's also there when you're stressed and feel like you're going nowhere.

(Or you are going somewhere but you're lost trying to get there).

17. If it's Panera Mac & Cheese, do we really need a reason?

(I'm doing it for the Panera Mac & Cheese. Mygod what am I doing with my life).

18. It's a great conversation starter.

(For example: "Oh nice, where was that?" "Oh, it was my first time drinking tea and having dessert in some fancy restaurant in Central London.") See? Super casual.

19. It gives you an excuse to try to be Betty Crocker for a day.

(Update: These were macaroons. . .they did not turn out like macaroons).

20. Above all, food has got your back.

Whether it be ordering a divine meal in your hometown or ordering a Big Mac because you don't know how to say anything else. Food is always going to be the key to my heart.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
