YouTube isn't just a website full of videos and information, but a place to release the mind and soul. For me, YouTube is full of laughter, sadness, and full of people that create these feelings in me. I would like to share with you my top five favorite YouTubers (in no particular order) and why they mean so much to me.
1. Jacksepticeye

2. Markiplier

3. Matthias
You may know him as Matthiasiam, or from his different channels such as Matt and Amanda, or Team Edge, but if you haven't seen Matthias, you are missing out. A father-to-be, Matthias is different because he doesn't just play games, he does vlogs. Vlogs are a diary or a "log" of the daily life someone lives, the "v" stands for virtual because it is captured on film. Matthias is my newest favorite YouTuber because he is more than just a gamer, he is a family man that makes videos with those in his family including his brother, sister, wife, and extended family. It also is in all good fun, with no cursing or crude humor. Just good down-home humor.
4. Tyler Oakley
What is there to say about Tyler that he hasn't said himself? This beautiful queen not only handles a YouTube channel with eight million subscribers, but has a podcast on ITunes called "Psychobabble," and a book called "Binge," which is a New York Times Best Seller. From the challenges to the Disney songs to opening mail, Tyler has stolen the hearts of everyone he meets. I am a new subscriber but every video has been so excited and full of laughter.
5. Superfruit
Anyone who knows me knows I adore Pentatonix, so when I found out that two members had created a YouTube channel, I was sold! Music is a huge part of the internet and these two (Mitch Grassi on the left, Scott Hoying on the right) are bringing that into a whole new light. With their medleys of Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus and their "Hip-Hop Goes Broadway" videos where they took songs of today and made them fit broadway musical numbers. This channel isn't one you see everyday, but you can see it every Tuesday!
YouTube is a part of so many people's lives, no matter the uses. I hope you'll have a look at these YouTubers, if you haven't already, and be prepared for laughter, joy, sorrow, and an addiction.
