1. No matter how much you visit, as soon as you leave you'll miss them like you haven't seen them in a year.

Going from spending every single day with these girls, to seeing them maybe once a month really does suck. I could visit every day and it still wouldn't be enough.

2. They're further away, but they're still there for you no matter what.

It doesn't matter what I have going on, if I'm stressed, happy, or sad I know I can go to them and they will be supportive and loving, always. It doesn't matter what time of the night it is, if it's important to me, they will be there to listen.

3. They support your goals.

At this point in your life, career paths are very important. They encourage me to go after all of my goals and do their best to help me achieve them. They're always there to cheer me on!

4. Your friends at your college don't understand your inside jokes.

You'll crack a joke between you and your best friends around some new friends at college, and they won't get it. Things will get super awkward.
