Calling all beauty lovers! You either love makeup or you don’t know anything about it. There never really seems to be an in between. If you’re like me, makeup has essentially become your hobby and you can’t get enough of it. Whenever you see makeup at the store, your heart races and you all of a sudden become overwhelmed. You have no idea where to begin looking. If you’re at the store with someone, they basically have to drag you out of the cosmetic aisles.
If you're obsessed with makeup, that's okay. You're not the only one! Here are five signs that you're quite the makeup junkie:
1. You go to Ulta or Sephora for fun.
Yeah, you heard me. For fun. Whenever I’m bored, I take myself to Ulta, or any cosmetic store really, and buy myself new makeup #treatyoself. I don’t need new bronzer, but I’ll buy it anyway. I also don’t need new foundation, but I’ll buy that anyways too. Why not add to the collection? (Thank God for Ulta Rewards!) The only downside is, you leave with your hand swatched in a million lipstick shades.
2. You watch countless hours of beauty bloggers on YouTube.
Whether it’s makeup tutorials, hauls or reviews, you can’t seem to get enough. You look at the clock and hours have gone by. It’s like a black hole, you just get sucked into it. But hey, it’s whatever. As long as I have mastered a perfect contour and highlight, who cares what time it is?
3. Your bank account hates you.
Ever wonder where your money went? Oh yeah, all on makeup. You cringe whenever someone asks me, “Why do you spend all your money on makeup?” Well. Here’s good answer to tell them: Why not? Sure, you swipe your card more often than you should on pricey foundations and concealers, but as long as it makes your skin glow, who cares?!
4. There are not enough storage containers in the world to put all your makeup in.
You have so much makeup, you don’t know where to put it. Your fabulous Caboodle can’t even hold half the amount of makeup you have. You have countless amounts of organizers and drawers to put your beauty toys in, half the time they're overflowing.
5. You do your makeup even when you have nowhere to go.
You didn’t watch all those makeup tutorials for nothin’. Whenever you have some free time, you like to play with new makeup looks. Whether it’s a smokey eye or more of a neutral look, why not test it out?
