Procrastinating is something everyone does at some point in their lives, and for us lucky college students, it becomes a daily occurrence. Though we shouldn't, we do a lot of things. Here are five things many of us will do in the last weeks of the semester.
1. Start a new Netflix series.
What’s better than procrastinating by watching Netflix? Giving your brain a rest is always a good idea, and when all you have to do is lay in bed and watch episode after.
2. Go out 3+ times a week.
We can taste the freedom of summer so we act like it is. It’s so close but still so far away…
3. Skip class to sleep.
Well, when you stay up all night watching Netflix or out on the town, or on rare occasions staying up and doing homework, you have to sleep sometime right?
4. Wait until the last minute.
Whether it’s that little chapter homework assignment or that 10-page research paper you’ve known about all semester, we’ll probably all wait and then stressfully cram it in there and get it done.
5. Look for a place to live.
If you’re in the unfortunate position of having to try to find a place to live, waiting probably isn’t the best option. Just remember, there are never too many texts, calls, or emails!
The end of the semester is a stressful time for everyone. Help yourself out by not doing these things, or any of the other millions of methods of procrastination. Stay on top of it and finish strong. Your GPA will thank you.
