Us fit girls are pretty easy to please. Just give us cute workout clothes, the latest Nikes, protein bars that all the girls on Instagram eat, and the eternal love of our gym crushes and we'll be happy. Super simple, right? Santa, I hope you're listening!

1. Your gym crush to walk in when you look like a strong goddess.

All the cute guys in my gym come in at the END of my workout, when I'm a sweaty mess and my muscles are tired.

2. Fit Crunch Bars

Because who doesn't want their protein in candy bar form?

3. Lululemon leggings

Everyone knows that the better you look, the better your workout will be - it's basically science. All of us fit girls need a pair of Lulus in our life to show off those booty gains.

4. Lenny & Larry's Complete Cookies

If you're a human being with an Instagram, chances are you've seen these floating around more than a few times. That's because they're basically the best food on earth (and the perfect stocking stuffer!) It doesn't get much better than a cookie the size of your face that's GOOD FOR YOU.

5. Fancy sports bras

Because not only do our leggings and tank tops have to be cute, but our sports bras, the things that nobody's even supposed to see, have to be on point as well. Some of the new styles are so elaborate that they might as well be shirts. The one pictured is Victoria's Secret's Crossback Sport Bra.

6. Abs

I did 10 crunches yesterday, where's my six-pack?

7. To be that gym couple that everyone hates but is secretly jealous of

Couples who lift together stay together. That's how that saying goes, right?

8. Racerback tanks

We say they're for comfort and breathability, but we really just want to show off our cute sports bras. Nike is my brand of choice for these.

9. Nice kicks

You know, to go along with our leggings, sports bras, and tanks. The gym is basically a place for us to show off our style and do a little bit of working out.

10. Quest bars

Eating quest bars is basically a rite of passage in the fitness community. I'd love to wake up to one of these in my stocking! And a membership to Quest Labs wouldn't be too terrible, either.

So, my fellow gym rats, what do y'all think about this list? Did I leave off anything important?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
