We all hear about the reckless "sylly" week some of our friends enjoy - a week of going out every night and barely making it to class. At Ohio State, most of us have yet to experience such a thing.
We might want to have a fun Toosday night after the first two days of class, but most of us can't. We have the 8 ams that take attendance or the homework due Wednesday afternoon.
Cardale might not have come here to "play school," but our professors sure did. A week in and you're taking a quiz. You think "I'll be okay" or "I'll at least pass it." The Carmen grade book says otherwise. You can either take this as a sign you're going to do horribly this semester and completely give up hope, or you can pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and work hard to do well next time.
It's the first month and you've got ten more weeks to prove yourself. One failed quiz is not the end of the world. We attend a great university with great students, professors, and resources. Take advantage of what we have been given and be the best Buckeye you can be!
