Finals week is almost here, the dreaded week of the semester. It is the turning point where you sometimes wished you had studied earlier, and try to focus while the sun in out and shining. The true test of preserving though lack of sleep, stress, and frying your brain. Where you can make or break your semester. You learn that you have anther level of yourself to survive. Survivors of this week, and those about to embark can relate to a few or all of these moments.
Trying to budget studying time.
Coming up with excuses to avoid studying.
You're not you at the end of the semester.
Trying to write that essay due in two hours at midnight.
When you figure out what grade you need on your final to pass the class.
When other people tell you how easy their finals will be.
When you find out your final grade.
When you find some time to relax.
If someone tries telling your parents your grades.
When someone asks how you're holding up.
Learning new things about yourself when sleep deprivation hits.
Snapping under stress and pressure to do well.
When your final group project members don't pull through.
When your friends try to make you feel better.
Saying farewell to your mean professor.
Midnight snacking...studying burns calories, right?
Finishing your last exam.
Prepping yourself to look at final grades.
Hold in for a couple weeks longer! Summer vacation is on the horizon. Good luck to my fellow students reaching the home stretch.
