If you go to Missouri State, you know that it can be incredibly hard to find a parking spot. You buy your parking sticker in hopes that you will be guaranteed a parking spot, but that is not always the case. Here are a few things you can relate to if you are a car owner at Missouri State.

1. If you have a class at 9 o'clock, make sure you are leaving your place by 8 o'clock.

Sadly, you could be circling the lot for 15 minutes trying to find a parking spot. And at a certain time, you don't care where it is because you are supposed to be in class in like 10 minutes.

2. People will follow you to your car and wait

The moment when you get to your car and you realize that you have been followed. So you don't feel like an asshole, you quickly throw your backpack in the car and fasten your seatbelt. Other times you see the cars circling and you try and turn into a secret agent and go undercover, so no one sees you.

3. Nine times out of ten there is going to be another event going on on campus

You know it's going to be an extra bad parking day when you see the yellow school buses. Because these buses feel free to park wherever they want and that often includes hogging space after space.

4. People can't park

Just when you think you have found a spot, you realize that the world's worst parker is the space over and they are parked halfway in your spot. But you have to say a little prayer for your car because there is nowhere else to park.

5. People in Springfield can't drive

If you try to drive anywhere on or near campus you are risking your life with Springfield drivers. Leaving the safety of your own place is sometimes a terrifying experience. May the odds be ever in your favor.

6. Some students park in the lots with no sticker

Really people? There are only so many spots available as it is and you are stealing. For all of us with parking passes, there is a special place in hell for you and we hope campus security catches you.

7. Parking meters

The trick is knowing when and when not you have to put all the change you can pull together to pay the meter. You have to pay even when you are not sure because campus security is ruthless.

8. Not knowing that you can park anywhere on the weekends

The time has finally come on the weekend when you can get that sweet parking spot you have been dreaming about. Because guess what? It's a free-for-all on the weekends.

9. University parking lot (metered 24/7)

You know that one parking lot at the front of campus by the Welcome Center? You probably didn't know that it is a metered parking lot 24/7 unless you have received a parking ticket. Campus security, can I not just get the weekends to park for free??

10. Is there a limit to parking passes???

Missouri State waves their magic wand around and say "you get a parking pass and you get a parking pass"! Little do they know that it does not work like this. There are not unlimited parking spots on campus.

It is no secret that Missouri State has been getting a lot of heat about the whole parking situation on campus. The real question is, when are they going to fix the parking dilemma to restore order back on Missouri State's campus?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
