No matter where you go to school and what your major is, finals week is probably hell, unless of course, you were smart enough to continuously study throughout the semester. Maybe it’s just the lack of sleep, lack of time, and lack of caffeine provided energy, many students experience a whirlwind of emotions. If you haven’t seen the show "How I Met Your Mother," I highly suggest it. Like finals week, while watching it, viewers experience all sorts of “feels”, and with that they do a great job of conveying extremely related emotions as well.
First, there's Thanksgiving break. That one older relative asks you if you've started cracking down, and seriously studying for finals, and how your grades are. Many times those family members start to talk about, how at this point of the year, they were regularly preparing for finals, and you sit there laughing and nodding, probably thinking something like:

Then, when you get back from break and just get back into the routine of waking up for classes, you realize how close finals are actually getting:
Eventually, you get to one point, that you feel confident, you only have three exams, two presentations, and a paper. You plan out all of this study time, as well as time to actually be productive, so you feel accomplished. Mind you, this was thought up at 2 o'clock am, prior to actually being productive:

If you're anything like me, you've probably struggled with procrastination, but when you finally dive into the work, you realize how much you ACTUALLY have. Flash forward to being awake at 3 am, trying to get caught up to where you would be on your original schedule:

A lot of times you look at the exam, and it's overwhelming that there is so much material that you forgot to go over one last time or you forgot about entirely..
and of course...
Then comes the next exam...

and presentation...
Then before your last exam of the week...
Finally, you walk out of the classroom, and realize it's time for you to go back home
Finals week can be insane, but in the end, you hopefully get to go back home, sleep in your own bed, and hey, no more cafeteria food!
