The end of the semester is almost here, and we all know what that means:

Finals are coming.

Let's face it, no matter how many times we tell ourselves we are going to be prepared and "do better this semester," we always end up in the same pit of despair with the same, stressful routine. Luckily, our good friends from "Lizzie McGuire" know exactly how you're feeling during this cold, dark time.

1. When you realize how much work you have to do, so you start by stress eating

2. When you need a pep talk from your friends to get through those final papers

3. But you know that no amount of encouragement can bring your brain back into the game

Once it's gone, it's gone.

4. When your late night Starbucks study sessions end in a caffeine twitch

5. When your parents hit you with the "if you don't do well, you'll never get a good job" speech

It's not like your future employer is really going to care if you pass world history, right?

6. When you haven't had time to do laundry all week, so you're forced to wear something from the reject pile

7. Or when you show up to class in yesterday's clothes

Because a 20-minute nap after your all-nighter is more important than saving your reputation.

8. When you've studied so much your brain starts to confuse math and English... and Italian

9. When you just can't wait to be done with that group project

There's no "i" in "team", but apparently there's one hidden in "group project."

10. When you still need to fill one more page of that paper so you just start making stuff up

11. When you bomb a test and try everything you can to comfort yourself

You really did the best you could.

12. When the test are done and you can finally spend your days sleeping and binge watching Netflix

At least until you have to come back next semester and do it all over again.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
