Finals Week Told By The Office

After a semester full of shenanigans, finals week is upon us. All the work you put off is about to catch up with you, and the mental breakdowns and sleepless nights are about to kick in. Your motivation is at an all time low, and all you can think about is going home to do whatever you want for an entire summer. This dreaded week is the only thing that stands between you and freedom, and it’s probably going a little something like this…

You sit down to study and realize you know nothing.

It’s too late to do the readings you put off the whole semester, so you resort to looking over the power points.

Exam dates are dangerously close and panic sets in.

You decide to take your studying to the next level, and go to the library.

...only to find yourself spending more time finding a table than studying.

After finding a spot, some serious studying takes place.

But after a while, your brain can't handle it anymore and you think..

You wish you had a puppy to comfort you in your time of need.

But instead you feel like this...

And you resort to food for comfort more often than you should.

All your friends are slightly scared to be around you because you start to take your stress out on them.

Then they remind you that it's their finals week too.

The time has come to take your exams and you're not quite sure what to feel anymore.

You read the first question and look up like...

Just when all hope seems to be lost, you come across some questions you know!

The week finally comes to an end, and you try to keep it cool walking out of your last exam but can't because...

Michael Scott and the rest of The Office feel your pain. Study hard and push through all the struggles that come along with finals week. Before you know it, you will be sleeping in as late as you want and binge watching all the Netflix your heart desires.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
