Finals Week Described By 'Parks And Rec'

As finals week rolls around, students will experience a plethora of emotions; defeat, failure and stress. Considering that the characters of Parks and Recreation seem to suffer almost as much stress as us college students, here are several gifs that will describe our emotions this upcoming week.

1. When it actually hits you that you have to begin studying for the hell week that is about to sneak up on you:

2. When in place of a final, your professor assigns a 98359234-page final paper instead:

3. When someone asks you if you want to study for the final with a group in the library:

4. When your mom calls or texts you to check in and you have a mental breakdown:

5. When you've come to that point where you've studied so much that you are both mentally and physically drained:

6. When you resort to stress-eating as your first exam quickly approaches:

7. When your friends who are already home ask you why you are so stressed/why are you spending so much time studying:

8. When you unexpectedly receive an email from a friend in a class with all of the answers to the study guide attached:

9. When you are at the library the night before the exam cramming until the early hours of the morning:

10. When you feel that random boost of confidence right before your first exam:

11. When that slight boost of confidence is quickly shut down by the fact that you looked at the first page of the exam and know nothing:

12. When you are mid-exam and are ready to give up but remember that if you want a decent career after graduation you need to maintain/bring up your GPA:

13. When you check your grade on an exam that you thought you failed but you didn't do as miserably as you expected:

14. When your favorite professor of the entire semester murders you with the hardest exam that you took in your college career thus far:

15. When you actually do well on your exams:

16. When exams are finally over and you feel that a weight as been lifted off of your shoulders:

17. And there is only one way to celebrate:

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
