Finals Week as Told by Your Favorite Childhood TV Shows

Finals week is approaching at a rapid pace and empty library seats are a delicacy at this point in the semester. Students are struggling to finish all of their assignments and cram as much information into their head as possible without losing all of their sanity. To put it simply, we're at a very low point right now. Professors continue to pile twenty page papers, presentations, and group projects—and the worst thing is, they expect all of the work to be flawless, like their assignment is the only assignment out there. But what professors seem to forget is that we take more than one class. We're not just busy perfecting one assignment, we're busy perfecting ALL of their assignments, which results in us handling Finals week like this:

Once you realize you need to start doing work:

But then you read the guidelines for one of your papers:

So you go to the library because an academic setting will help you think better, but you can't find a seat ANYWHERE, which makes you angry:

Once you find a seat, you try to learn an entire semester of information in one day:

Alright, exam time. Time to get psyched up:

Which results in you thinking this is going to happen:

But then you read the first question on an exam and you have no idea what the answer is:

And of course, you encounter a huge chunk of the exam that wasn't on the study guide:

Completely guessing the answer... more than once:

When there's only 15 minutes left in the exam and you're not even close to being done, so you just kinda:

But then you realize you know the extra credit question:

Being half-way through Finals week and still feeling like you haven't gotten anything done:

Trying to meet the word/page count for all of your essays:

After being in the library for eight hours:

And trying to have a coherent conversation with someone:

Trying to doing thirty things at once:

And attempting not to get burring underneath your mountain of work. And failing:

So this is how you cope:

When you can't think of a good enough thesis for your essay:

So you eat some food. Okay, you eat a lot of food because brain power.

And then you just kinda snap somewhere around day four:

And you go into auto-pilot mode:

But that backfires, so you take a minute to get your life together before doing it all over again:

Finals week is Snoopy. You are Linus. Hold on

No matter how much preparation you do for Finals week, you're still going to be unbelievably stressed, so make sure you have access to plenty of caffeine and a quiet place to study. You will make it to Winter Break, no matter how impossible that seems. Good luck, students.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
