Finals Week As Told By Ellen Degeneres

It's the end of the semester and we all know what that means, it's finals week. Hands down the most stressful week of the year. Constantly checking emails, writing papers and studying for exams can get old really fast. Here is a list of everyones least favorite moments about finals week as told by everyones favorite talk show host, Ellen Degeneres.

1. That feeling you get when you walk out of your last class

And in that moment, life was good. We all know the feeling. Nothing beats knowing you'll never have to sit in that 8am lecture ever again. Time to take those eyes off the clock and focus them to your Netflix screen.

2. Realizing you still have to take finals

Acceptance is important, finals are a thing and they are happening. But it's fine, i'm fine, everything's fine.

3. Procrastination

When it comes to studying or a dance party I almost always pick dance party. Now is the perfect time to dance it out and no it can not wait. I'll study later...maybe.

4. Sleep Deprivation

My bed is calling out to me but my head is telling me to hit the books but I haven't slept in days. What day is it?

5. Exhaustion

To sleep or to shower? I can barely stand up but it's getting to that point... I still choose sleep. This is what dry shampoo is for.

6. Hunger

Don't talk to me until I've eaten, I'm not pleasant. All I can think about is devouring a pizza and some cinnamon sticks. A girl can dream.

7. When you haven't even taken any finals yet

You've got to be kidding me. It feels like I've spent an eternity with my head in the books. Freedom is so close, yet so far away.

8. When you remember the final is cumulative

It's the one thing a college student never wants to hear; your final is cumulative. How do they expect me to remember the beginning of the semester when I can barely remember what I ate for dinner last night?

9. Walking into the exam

The moment of truth. It's time for that much needed pep talk. It's the homestretch, I got this.

10. During the exam

When did we learn this? Why is everyone writing so much? Maybe if I write more I'll get a higher grade. Thank god there's something on this test I actually know.

11. Realizing you're finally done.

Killing it. Peace out freshman year its been fun. Time to sleep for three days straight.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
