My Final Thoughts On Tomi Lahren
Hayden Lee

Known as the blonde girl who Liberals love to hate, TomiLahren has taken over the internet with her Final Thoughts clips. She is a cut-throat boss of a woman who unapologetically says what most of us are too afraid to say. She has several short clips circulating through cyberspace about political issues that are relevant to today, but what grabbed my attention was her recent chat at Turning Point USA. Here, Tomi not only played "comedian extraordinaire," but she also stood firm, proud, and poised as she took on some of today's toughest questions that even big shot politicians struggle with. That is what sets Tomi apart, she has an answer for everything and she gives it with no vague lines or exceptions. Case in points:

On Immigration:

During the Q&A session of her chat, a question on immigration came up and Tomi opened with, "We have nothing against immigration—legal immigration. People, we are all immigrants." She continued, “We want you to come into our country. We want you tocontributeto our country and we respect those who respect the steps that it takes.” She goes on to point out, for those who believe being against illegal immigration is racist, that illegal immigration is not arace,it is anactivity. So if you consider it a race, and you associate immigration with Mexicans, you are the racist. All of this concluded with the perfect analogy: Do you lock the doors to your home? If so, why? Because you hate everyone, or because you want toprotect the people inside? Exactly.

On Drafting Women:

Also titled "Women in Combat," because like Tomi pointed out, a draftwon't becoming any time soon and the only reason the draft came into context was to put the Pro-Women in Combat Liberals in their place. While Tomi emphasized that she supports and respects women in uniform fully, she made a valid point. If we decide to sprinkle some women in the military like a Powder Puff football game, we are no longer pushing agendas and fighting for women's' rights. We are putting the entire mission at risk. As Tomi put it, "The military is not a social experiment. They are successful because of their hyper-masculinity.” While we do need women for other jobs dealing with operations, the brotherhood of the military is what makes it work. In this pro-female world, think of the men for once. She concluded," The military is not your average job, so stop treating it like one. You can't integrate women in that environment and expect it to work because real lives are on the line.” If a man is fighting next to a woman, no matter what the circumstances, he will protect her and we cannot risk that type of compromise to the mission.

On Trump himself:

"I do not think Trump is a conservative. I think he is a Republican and abusinessman and is the person who is going to shake the dustoff of Washington D.C."

Case closed.

On Political Correctness:

"You don't want to say that Tomi, you probably shouldn't speak in that way." Those are the criticisms she gets on her Final Thoughts videos. But you know what? The way she speaks is exactly why she, and Trump are changing the game. She talks like she is speaking to her friends, in a relatable way. That is how she gains trust and followers. Not calling anyone ignorant, but shedumbs it down just enough for us to fully grasp her points. Unlike big government politicians who hide behind big words and hope nobody notices they never fully answered the question that they were given in the first place.

On Law Enforcement Racism:

"If you think that someone making less than $45,000 a year and puts on a badge because somehow they are trying to advance their white racism, you are fooling yourself". She goes on to explain that police today are more afraid of a camera lens that is going to "make them look racist" than actually being in the line of fire. That is where this country has gone wrong.

We could list every statement that has ever fell so eloquently out of her mouth because they are all important and relevant. Tomi is the hope we needed for this country. But let me remind you all of two things. First, let us not forget that America has not gone to waste. The pride in our country has dwindled, but we are still the best nation. Everyone wants to jump ship to Canada just because things are getting rocky, but let me remind you that you can go to the furthest country from the U.S searching for whatever it is you are looking for, and you will not find it. You want equality? Peace? Quality of life? Hope? You can find that in your backyard. WE are the government. WE did this to ourselves. Stay and clean up the mess before trashing your country and making a fool of yourself.

Lastly, while Tomi is a breath of fresh air, let us also remember the only One who is and has always been our hope. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. If you really want hope, then you want Him.

And those are my Final Thoughts.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
