As an analog shooter, I was very excited to get my hands on the reboot of Kodak Ektachrome 35mm film. I finally got ahold of some and jumped on a plane to shoot it around a couple cities in North Carolina. This article will detail the shots taken around Durham, NC and Duke University Campus.

Ektachrome has a really nice purple cast to the highlights in my opinion, but when exposed slightly over, the cast shifts to a really nice and natural colorscape.

Here, you can see the nice and natural colors rendered by this film. I liked this shot on Duke campus, because of the symmetry of the hallway.

Inside the chapel, I was pleased by the texture of the slide film shot in low light. Following are three more shots showing the low light aesthetic inside the Duke chapel.

I love the cool hues of this slide film, and the framing of this shot in particular appealed to me.

Here is a really nice color rendition in the university garden.
The following shots will wrap up my article with some architectural shots of the Duke chapel. This slide film is a blast to shoot, and I was able to acquire two more rolls of it, so stay tuned for some upcoming content featuring Kodak Ektachrome!
