Spring Break is right around the corner and everyone is busy packing their suitcases with swimsuits, clothes, tanning lotion, etc. What you should be packing is your playlist full of songs for the ride to your spring break destination and for while you're there. I’ve come up with some of the best songs your playlist should include, and you’ll be surprised by a few that make the list.
1.iSpy by Kyle Feat Lil Yachty
This song is becoming fairly popular and I get why. It’s got such a catchy tune and lyrics that I listened to it once and caught myself singing the same words over and over again – which of course can get annoying after a while but it’ll still make for a fun SB’17 song.
2.Mask Off by Future
I, personally, have become a big Future fan over the last few months so when I heard this song I immediately thought that it’d be the perfect song to get hyped up to.
3. Jordan Belfort by Wes Walker
This is one of those songs where you’ll want to memorize the lyrics so when it comes on you can impress everyone with how good your lyrics game is. This song came out a couple years ago but every time I listen to it, I just immediately think of my friends and having a good time. And I mean, who doesn’t love Wolf of Wall Street?
4.Congratulations by Post Malone
Post Malone is a 21 year old from New York who got his popularity from a song he put out on SoundCloud in 2015 that got over a million views within the first month. Since then, he’s been putting out hit after hit so this was a definite add to the SB’17 playlist once I heard it.
5.Yeah! By Usher
You can’t go wrong with this classic throwback. I don’t know a single person who can hear this and not jam out to it. Usher always had the best hits and to be honest, all of his songs should be on your playlist. Whether you’re cruisin’ down the highway or out on the beach, this song is sure to bring your mood to probably its highest point.
6.Ms. Jackson by Outkast
Again, this is another throwback that you can’t deny screaming out the words to. Ms. Jackson is just the ULTIMATE throwback.
7.Bounce Back by Big Sean
This song makes the list because lets face it, you’ll probably be taking an ‘L’ or two during spring break… but hey, BOUNCE BACK!
8.This Is What You Came For by Calvin Harris Feat. Rihanna
Although this got overplayed on the radio last year, it’s one of those songs where if you don’t listen to it for long enough, it’s going to make for a great jam out sesh with your girls when you do.
9.Location by Khalid
This slower tempo song is so catchy and the beat just makes this song such a feel good kind of song. If you plan on spending your spring break at the beach, this song would be perfect for a day out on the white sand with the ocean doing it’s thing out in front of you.
10.Body Like a Back Road by Sam Hunt
Sam Hunt. That’s all I have to say…
11.House Party by Sam Hunt
I couldn’t not add this song.
12.Tipsy by Lil Jon & J-Kwon
*This is not encouraging you to get a fake…* However, this is encouraging you to jam out to this song with everyone you know and even people you don’t know.
13.Be Right There by Diplo
I think Diplo has had some hits and also some misses but this song is a banger. The techno, Cali hipster wannabe side of me comes out when I listen to this song and I don’t understand why, but I think I like it…
14.Shots by LMFAO
Because who didn’t blow their speakers listening to this song in middle/high school. Heck, I still rock out hard to this song. LMFAO, MAKE AN EPIC COME BACK PLEASE.
15.Just Hold On by Louis Tomlinson Feat Steve Aoki
I’ve always been a One Direction fan so it’s kind of no surprise that this song made the list. Louis Tomlinson recorded this song with Steve Aoki and although I was skeptical at first, I think it actually turned out to be a pretty bumpin party jam.
Stay safe and enjoy your spring break jams!
