Alexandra. The girl was always so quiet, so depressed, and so worrisome. I truly cared for her, but I did not know what was wrong. Why was she always so silent? Why was she always so sad? Homecoming was coming up and I wanted to make a move, but I didn't know if it would be the right time to do something like that. This girl was truly very peculiar, however, there was something very unique about her, which I adored.

"Alexandra! Clean up your room now. You want to face the consequences?!" shouted Alexandra's mother.
"Yes mother, of course, I'll clean my room," said Alexandra in a saddening mood.
"Alexandra! What the hell is this! Is this how you clean your room?" questioned her mother.
"Mom, I have a lot of homework and it looks spot-on clean," mumbled Alexandra.
"I don't care, fix it right now," said her mother angrily.
"But mom!"
After Alexandra's mother finished ripping up her homework, Alexandra could not help but shed tears as strong as waterfalls on an embellished mountain. No one in her family could understand her and she felt as though everything was gone. Her mom did not account for her priorities or show any love to her whatsoever. Her brother, Johnny, kept playing video games and forced her to do his homework for him. Furthermore, her dad was too involved with business and law all the time, he didn't even have the time to look at Alexandra. As for friends, Alexandra had none. Everyone at school teased Alexandra for her weight and did not want to associate with her whatsoever. It was truly a dark time in Alexandra's life.
The next day, Alexandra walked into school with tears coming down her face as fast as Usain Bolt running a 5k. Her favorite song, although she did not have the mood for music, was Silence by Marshmello featuring Khalid. She felt as though she could relate to this song so much as she was always silent in her life and never got a voice to express. No one seemed to notice what she was going through, not even her teachers because they were too busy teaching the lesson for the day. Alexandra looked around and all she could see was a black hole, which was waiting to suck her in.

It was the week of homecoming and I finally decided that I wanted to ask her out. It would be after school on Tuesday and I had a poster and donuts ready for the big moment. The poster would say.... DO-NUT worry because I got you! HOCO? Super cringy, I know. However, I felt like this would really work and I could get a date for homecoming to see what this girl was all about. It was Monday morning and school had started, but nowhere in sight did I see Alexandra. I wondered to myself... "Where was she?". Thoughts ran through my head and I could not focus the rest of the day. The next morning, I saw her parents frantically running to the administrator's office ambushed with tears. I peeked through the window and kind of stalked their conversation.
"Where is our daughter!" the parents moaned.
"She went to school yesterday but after that, we have had no form of communication with her whatsoever!" said Alexandra's parents with agony.
My heart shook as I wondered where Alexandra could be.
What was she doing? Where could she be? What was happening?
