Everyone attending college has the exact same fears in some form or another. Although they are nothing compared to the ones we will be facing when we leave this place, they are fears nonetheless.
Your unassigned-assigned seat being taken
When you have a quick panic attack every time you are walking into a class because you are saying a quick prayer that your usual seat doesn't have some other individual getting their germs all over it. You know once it has been sat in for just one day, it is gone forever and can no longer be yours.
Gift Card overdraft alert
You know that gift card for some place you would never actually go to that has been kicking around for like six moths? Yeah, well now it has come time to use it and you have no idea if it will actually work, but you don't have any other form of payment. We have all been there and we know that heart -racing second between handing the card over and the printing of the receipt.
Paper due tomorrow morning
Have you ever had that feeling that you are forgetting something? Do you ever check the syllabus just to make sure and find out you have a 10-page paper due in tomorrow's class? This happens to the best of us and it definitely makes us all very fearful. You know the worst 12 hours of your life may be ahead of you.
Oh, online version, where are you?
Have you ever gone to the bookstore only to find out that the textbook you need will cost you almost as much as your first-born child? So you just decide, "Eh, ill find it somewhere online." Shortly after this thought process, the first assign, went comes up and a PDF is nowhere to be found.
What time is it?
Ever go to sleep and wake up feeling way too rested, or the sun is just a little too bright for it to be 9am. Yep, your phone died over the night and now not only did you miss your alarm(s) but you also have no idea what time it is.
Running out of clothes
When you legitimately have nothing to wear because you have run out of clean clothing options. This is procrastination to the max. You have to wear dirty clothes to class and you're not nearly as ashamed as you should be.
