This winter season, there have been many new fashion trends that have taken off and I am so excited to try some of them out! I'm sure more trends will begin to emerge as the season continues, but until then, here are some of my top favorites!
Knee-High Boots
Knee-high boots are currently one of the most popular items to have in your closet. A lot of my friends have been buying them lately, and I've seen them on a lot of people around campus at the bars and at parties! They're super cute and go with many different types of outfits. Definitely a must-have!
Choker Necklaces
Chokers have recently, in the past few months, made a huge come-back with people my age. I always see girls wearing them at parties and around campus - this is a slightly controversial trend, however. Some people don't like them, but I definitely think they're a cute accessory!
Platinum Grey Hair
This is another trend that has recently becoming more and more popular - platinum grey hair. I have noticed more and more girls dying their hair this color, and I'm a huge fan! It has an edgy, but cute, look that many people are striving for. The only problem with this color is that in order to obtain the true platinum grey color, you must bleach your hair of its natural color, first.
Sweater-Dresses
Sweater dresses have been making a huge comeback in recent months (they look great with knee-high boots). I love these dresses because they're super cute and also so comfortable! A sweater dress is a piece that you definitely want in your winter wardrobe collection.
Timbs
Timbs have always been a great streetwear style, but recently I've noticed more and more girls my age wearing them. They're super cute and edgy, which is a great look for the winter time! I personally have a pair of black ones and they go great with every outfit.
Long Coats
Warm, long coats have become a huge fashion trend this season. Warm and comfortable, they are a go-to for the freezing days that winter sends us!
Eyebrows
Bold, defined eyebrows are not really something that has just come into style, but they are definitely a huge trend for women. Eyebrows define the entire face and can make or break a good makeup look, so be sure to do them correctly!
Winter Boots
As the temperature drops and snow begins to fall constantly, people have once again begun to break out their winter boots! I think winter boots can be a very cute fashion statement, and the ones I have pictured above are an example of my favorite style. Fashionable yet warm, these are an essential piece to your winter wardrobe.
Winter is a great time to get into fashion and pay attention to the latest trends. Some people think that the cold temperatures of winter ruin their fashion opportunities, but if you do it right you can look amazing and still be warm and ready for winter.
