Who the hell wears glass slippers?
Curfew? That's a thing?
Love at first sight
And true loves first kiss?
It's all a joke and unrealistic.
My first kiss was chapped, dry and nasty.
If that was true love,
I wouldn't put it past me, trust me.
Love is patient and takes time to grow.
If someone forgot how I looked
And had to use shoes to find me,
I'd tell that fool to walk out the damn door.
Every princess is thin, petite
And has beauty beyond belief.
Standards are raised high for little girls
And then we wonder why they're so insecure.
Princesses should symbolize real people.
Plus size, puberty, and self-love first.
Love between same genders,
Love that takes a few tries.
Meet a stranger, dance in the forest.
Fall in love and sing with animals.
It's cute indeed,
But it's not what we need.
Society has a hold on what we should see
But doesn't realize that it's just a fantasy.
