8 Signs Your Dad Is Your Best Friend As Told By Phil Dunphy

Note: It is important to be mindful of everyone during holidays, especially parent holidays. I wrote this based on my relationship with my father who is my best friend. However, I realize not everyone has that. You are strong and your feelings are valid. I hope you enjoy these Phil GIFs.

1. They all know how to text, even when there is nothing to say. Sometimes it is just to send you funny cat videos and LOL's.

2. Dad's are the best (especially Phil); He is just easy-going, positive, and knows how to make us feel better even when it's not "s'all good".

3. Every dad thinks they are the cool dad. Just remember, cool looks different on all people and all dads.

4. Dads love a good family picture. You'll thank them for it later.

5. Even when they complain about it, they would do anything for you and mom. Even sit through a French movie.

6. Phil is the leading example in teaching. Whether it is manners, how to drive, or dance moves, dads are there to teach you.

7. They will learn and master how to embarrass you. Hey, they are just being dads.

8. No matter what happens, how many obstacles, or how hard things get your dad is there for you. He is your biggest supporter and best friend.

Thanks, dad. Love you.

I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
