When You Give A Girl A Dad

My dad is my hero and best friend

My dad is my biggest blessing, my best friend, and my hero.

When you give a girl a dad you give her someone to teach her how men should treat her. I know my dad always would teach me how I should be treated by a man and what I should look for.

When you give a girl a dad you give her a strong man to look up to. Growing up without a mom was strange for me, but my dad showed me what it was like to be strong and have faith.

When you give a girl a dad you give her someone to turn to for advice. I go to my dad for everything and he always has the right answers, even when I don't want them. My dad always seems to know the right thing to say and knew all of the answers.

When you give a girl a dad you give her a support system. My dad was always at every school event and was always in the front row taking pictures. He used to embarrass me, but now I see girls that don't have that and am so thankful.

When you give a girl a dad you give her someone to look up to. My dad is the strongest person I know, and he has taught me to be strong and stick to my morals and values.

When you give a girl a dad you give her a best friend. When I was younger my dad and I didn't quite see eye to eye, like most teens and their parents, but now my dad is the first person I call with news good and bad, and the first to hear my occasional gossip.

When you give a girl a dad you give her someone that will love her unconditionally and selflessly.

Happy fathers day dad, I love you with my whole heart.

And if you haven't already guessed, it's beer. There are few things I take more seriously than my beer, in order are: sports... and beer. Here are my favorite summer brews:

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

6539
Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

You cannot beat the beach. Believe it or not (which many people may not), New England has a long and beautiful coastline. Most of my high school summers were spent sitting on the Wall at Hampton Beach, getting sunburnt and eating Acai bowls from The Secret Spot. The Wall was the place to be both during the day and at night. We begin our days there with a KB's bagel and coffee, and end them with pizza and ice cream. It’s not a New England summer without that 4 p.m. text from someone, “Who wants to meet at the Wall tonight?” Nighttime is for Tripoli’s Pizza, the sound of waves, and wishes on shooting stars. Wednesday nights are especially important, as those are the nights that Hampton Beach sets off the weekly firework display.
