Fashion … Passion … College?
Okay ladies and gentleman, here’s the reality: 8:00 a.m. classes are for the birds, obviously! Well, anything before noon is really just TOO much for any college. But how can you be fashionable early in the morning without putting a lot of effort into it? Here are just a few tips for the guys and gals to stay fashionable yet comfortable:
LADIES:
- Sweatpants are an automatic go-to, of course, but joggers are definitely what is trending! If you don’t already have joggers, you can purchase them at a SUPER reasonable price at places like: rue21, Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less in Jackson, TN, (or any city near you) or even Factory Connection, which is right here in McKenzie, or any local store in your hometown.
- Adding a cute top or even a colored tank with a flannel will make those eyes POP! Flannels are super cheap at ANY thrift store.
- Now, shoes can go a couple of different ways. You can choose a cute, simple flip flop; you can also go with Toms, which are comfortable, cute, and fashionable!
- Hair can be a little tricky for you girls! Using some dry shampoo and mousse can work absolute WONDERS! You can scrunch your hair for a natural curly look or you can put all that hair up in a high ponytail. Both are cute, manageable, and easy to do!
- Now to tie the outfit together, throw on a cute, long chain necklace, and you have comfort and style for those awful early morning classes!
GENTLEMEN:
- For the bottoms, guys can go two different ways because guys are not too picky: an old destroyed style denim or, again, joggers (which are unisex) are your best choice for comfort!
- A simple t-shirt is fine, but if you want absolute comfort, the way to go is a Bro-Tank.
- Now for the hair, most guys aren’t into gel, so throw on a beanie or flat-bill hat to cover up that terrible bed head!
- Shoes for jeans are a comfortable combat boot and for joggers, again, Toms are the way to go for the best overall comfort!
- As far as accessories go, for guys they aren’t a necessity. BUT if you're just feeling froggy, then put on a nice watch or a chain necklace to bring the outfit to its full potential!
