Dear President Obama,

From myself and the United States, even though some of them don’t want to say it, thank you. Thank you for passing a health care reform, ending the war in Iraq, eliminating Osama Bin Laden and expanding hate crime protections.

Although you have survived being disliked, racially profiled and discriminated, thank you for biting your teeth and continuing to run this country the way it needed to be run. Thank you for showing America that you didn't need a scandal to succeed as President.

Thank you for showing America that your family has class and elegance. Thank you for showing America that you don’t have to be uptight just because you are President. Thank you for being funny, respectful and down to Earth. Thank you on behalf of all of the children that you have invited into your Presidential home.

Thank you for leaving the office after two terms with your dignity, pride, integrity and soul. We do not know where you will go from here, and most of us fear for the future of our country without you being in office. However, just know that no matter where you go or what you do, you will always be my favorite President whether America chooses to admit it or not.
