It has been 22 years since "Friends" first aired, but generations continue to fall in love with the beloved friend group. Even after all this time, it is still relatable and funny. Whether it's high-strung, neat freak Monica, awkward Chandler or eccentric Phoebe, we can relate to them and compare them to our own friend group. Even after all these years, who doesn't still laugh at Monica dancing with a turkey on her head, or when Phoebe sings "Smelly Cat?" Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe and Ross have all left a mark on our hearts.

But after their 12-year break, they are back! Our favorite Central Perk customers are all going to be together again, and everyone is freaking out. This is the reunion we have all been waiting for, and it is finally happening.

Here is the roller coaster of emotions and reactions that every "Friends" fan experienced when they heard the news.

1. When the words, "Friends Reunion" first popped up on your newsfeed, you couldn't help but quote Janice and say in your best Jersey accent, "Oh. My. God."

2. Before you click on the link, you mentally prepare yourself for the fact that it may not be true or some really sick joke. You know that, if it isn't true, you are going to be very hurt and very angry.

3. When you see that the reunion is confirmed, you can't help but jump up and down.

4. Then it hits you, the reunion you have been waiting years for is finally happening, and all you can do is cry tears of joy.

February 12 cannot come soon enough. Even though its is not a "Friends" reunion, but a special tribute honoring the sitcom's director, James Burrows. One can only hope this may lead to a real reunion. Until then, just having all six of them in one room will be enough.
