What are fangirls and fanboys you ask? Fangirls and fanboys are extreme fans of television shows, movies, book, bands, and any other thing that you can get obsessed with or be a fan of. The possibilities are endless really. When it comes to being a fangirl and fanboy, there are some things that we know better than anyone else. Below are some of those things!

1. Screaming and Squealing Is Part of Being a Fangirl and Fanboy

When something crazy or unexpected happens in our favorite television show or book, we tend to scream or squeal. We flail our arms and sound equivalent to that of a tea kettle whistling. People look at us like we've lost our minds, which is understandable because we have once we've reached this point.

2. New Episodes, Movies, Books, Albums, Etc. Are The Best

If a new episode or album comes out, we go crazy. Fangirls and fanboys aren't known for calm reactions when it comes a release of new content. It's an indescribable combination of excitement, happiness, and uncertainty as to what the new content will be like.

3. Fanfiction is Confusing

Fanfiction can be both a blessing and a curse. Finding some that sticks to the characters' personalities as well as having good grammar, is hard to come by. Don't even get me started on it having a decent plot. Although when you find the works that actually meet your standards, it's a glorious feeling.

4. Family Doesn't Get It

Most of the time family doesn't get it. Some family members like a sibling or on a rare occasion, a parent, might understand what it means to be a fangirl or fanboy. Overall your family just looks at you like you have lost it and don't get why you've been screaming while you listen to the same song over and over.

5. Actors, Authors, YouTubers, and Band Members Make Our World Go Round

There are no words that can be used to describe how appreciative us fangirls and fanboys are of the people who provide our content and help it become reality. We wouldn't have the things we love and obsess over without the work of the actors, authors, and band members that make it happen.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
