Fall For This One Instead

Falling for somebody is easy. The hard part is falling for the right person.

Falling is never the hard part. Have you noticed that? It's actually so easy that it's scary. The hard part is falling for the right person, for someone that's good for you. How can you know the difference?

Fall for the one who...

talks to you throughout the day, not the one who texts you at 2 A.M.

the one who wants to take you out, not the one who wants to Netflix & chill

the one who makes you smile, not the one you cry yourself to sleep over

the one who has a good heart, not just a pretty face or heavy wallet

the one who is patient with you even if you're not always patient back, not the one who jumps to conclusions and takes it out on you

the one who makes you feel special, not the one who lets you go to sleep wondering if you still matter

the one who cares about your feelings and will do anything to fix a bad day, not the one who will let you figure it out on your own

the one you're comfortable around, not the one who makes you feel like you have to be something you're not

the one who calls you beautiful, not the one who calls you hot

the one who treats you as an equal, not the one who talks down to you

the one who makes things better, not worse

the one who won't stay angry long, not the one who holds grudges or draws out an argument

the one who is easy to trust, not the one you have to stress about if they are out of town or don't answer your calls

the one who makes you a better you, not the one who brings out the bad qualities

the one who loves the Lord and keeps Him first, not the one who stands in the way of what's important

Most importantly, fall for the one who feels like home, because that doesn't come around often. You might just miss your chance if you choose to fall for the wrong one instead.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
