The weather hasn't cooled down, the leaves have hardly changed and it's still very much a Georgia summer. None of this matters, because fall is upon us, and it's time to celebrate! If you're looking for fall fun in Georgia, these are your premier destinations.

1. Taste of Atlanta

Atlanta, Georgia

From October 21 to 23, Atlanta showcases the best of the best wine, beer, cocktails and restaurants it has to offer.

2. Oktoberfest

Helen, Georgia

From beer to bands, the ultimate party of the fall takes place in Helen for the 46th year in a row from mid-September to October 30.

3. Hot Air Balloon Festival

Kennesaw, Georgia

Kennesaw State University is hosting their annual Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival on October 21 and 22. What could be a better way to spend a crisp fall day than watching dozens of balloons drift through the sky while having fun with the family?

4. Ghost Tours

Savannah, Georgia

Being a historical town, it is said that in Savannah, Georgia many spirits still lurk the streets each night. If you’re trying to get your scare on in South Georgia, Savannah is known for their incredible ghost tours.

5. Fairs

On my top 10 best things about the South is that, if you walk five feet around anywhere after Sept., you’ll probably find a funnel cake. Fairs litter the streets of Georgia in the fall, and it’s a great annual tradition to continue this year.

6. Netherworld

Norcross, Georgia

Located in Norcross, Georgia is Netherworld, among the best haunted houses in the country. This is hands-down the greatest Halloween destination in Georgia. This year, the two haunt themes are monsters and “Vault 13: MELTDOWN.” If you’re trying to get chased around by some of the most terrifying and talented people in the business, head this way before November 5. Tickets range from $23 to $55 and can be purchased at fearworld.com.

7. Ellijay, Georgia

From apple orchards to pumpkin fields, you can surround yourself in autumn in the small mountain town Ellijay, Georgia. People travel miles to pick apples up at Red Apple Barn and to get lost in the changing season. If you want to have the perfect fall day, spend it in Ellijay.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
