"Faith Can Move Mountains" Matthew 17:20

One of my favorite quotes from the Holy Bible. Most of all, one of my absolute favorite, and remarkable, works of literature. As someone who attended an all-girls Christian Bible camp in Fayetteville, PA for five years, from the 7th to 11th grade, I was taught the importance of God, The Almighty. Most of all, I was taught His importance on this Earth and the power of the prayer. At the time, I didn't quite understand the importance of God in my life.

Flash forward to six years post-bible camp and high school and here I am utilizing His Powerful Word. Throughout these six years, numerous ups-and-downs, countless jobs, breakdowns, and a rollercoaster ride of changes (emotional, mental, and physical) have been experienced within me. I used to think before in the past that none of these things should be happening to me. I even questioned God and the universe: Why? Why am I being put through these troubles? Am I being punished for something I didn't do for no reason? Why me?

Now being almost 24 years old, I have a clearer understanding of why I went through these struggles. The struggles I faced were aimed and aided to build me up, strengthen my character, and persevere strongly in every obstacle of life. His Word, six years later, still remains powerful as ever. Each morning, and mid-day, I use the bible app. on my smartphone to read a simple bible quote of the day. Besides Spotify Weekly and Pinterest, His Word helps get me through each day and week. Whether I'm trying to cram for an exam, working every weekend, pulling doubles, He is there to help guide me through.

Friends and family, no matter what happens, keep your faith high. Seek God. In times of trouble and different obstacles, life takes us, stay in the present. Keep going. Most importantly, Breathe. Everything will be alright.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
