What is extreme garage selling you say? It is hitting up multiple garage sales in a short period of time. Well, one guy has taken it to a whole other level. His name is Michael Schramm and he began to build up an enterprise. He started extreme garage saling and collecting multiple home essentials like couches. He eventually turned to gaming and had an entire room dedicated to video games, gaming systems, etc. He began to sell everything he started to buy while making a profit. The term reseller is what he associates with. Once he gained enough he started to help families in need, by giving them what they needed free of charge--furniture, dish ware, canned goods, etc. He made his living by three words; buy, sell and trade. He says, “It’s never about the money, it’s about helping those in need.
His main point of advertisement is Facebook consign sites where people post pictures of their goods that they try to sell. He ultimately created his own Facebook site called White Picket Fence. This helped boost sales inevitably, especially with videos he would upload of himself presenting what he wanted to sell. His site is unlike others because of the rules he has, that there are no rules! Simply if you want to buy an item you can message that person and buy it. Other sites have inline rules, which means you could be behind someone but a lot of the problem with this are no shows, people who say they want something but don't follow through with it. The no rules policy allows people to sell however they want, and for people to buy however they want. There are no complications.
Today you will see Michael at the Red 9. I know what you’re thinking, that place we would go to to drink and dance? Yes, Red 9 has been closed for almost two years, and now it has been rented as his own dream of a consignment store. Everything you can imagine from art work to Super Nintendo games, he has it, and he can sell it. So do yourself a favor and go check out his store. Not only does he beat everyone's prices in town, but he can sell your unwanted stuff for you for a 70/30 deal. It is taking extreme garage selling to a different level. It is basically a warehouse full of stuff to buy! An indoor garage sale is what he calls it. He also has kids toys and clothes that are solely free will donations for families in need. The best part is how he is changing our community. This is the "borrow a cup of sugar from my neighbor" mentality. This isn't just some consignment store, it's a movement
