Why You Should Get Excited for "Orange Is The New Black" Season Three

The time has come: Litchfield Prison is back in action this coming Friday, June 12 for its third season. That’s right, "Orange Is The New Black" is returning with 14 episodes of pure comedy, drama, violence, and a little bit of love (or a lot). If you’re not on the edge of your seat all week waiting for this season to be released, well you just might have to be the newest inmate in Litchfield. Just kidding. But really, if you don’t have any plans for Friday night, OITNB will make up for a boring night at home.

For a quick recap, we ended Season 2 with Vee escaping through the greenhouse, although later to be run down by the terminally ill Rosa who escaped with the van Morello escorted her to. However, while Piper has gotten more comfortable inside the prison, her ex-fiancé has gotten more comfortable with her ex-best friend Polly. But just because that relationship ended, doesn’t mean a new one is about to reform with Alex as she returns back in her jumpsuit. Daya is still pregnant with the guard’s (Bennett) child, and Caputo is still a mess just trying out his new position in the prison. Healy on the other hand is still not sure where he is mentally as his Safe Group is the only thing he feels he has left.

What do you think is going to happen in Season 3? I’ve heard this season is going to be mostly based on faith, so we all know how that goes in prison. New inmates arrive, Alex returns, the kitchen gets pretty hot and crazy, and Crazy Eyes will.... well we never know what really goes on with her.

There is so much to look forward to this Friday, June 12! If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, watch it here below! So, get ready to spend 588 minutes with your heart beating out of your chest, your jaw dropped open, and crying tears of both happiness and sadness. Season 3 we’re ready for you!

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
