College is a time of finding yourself. College is also a time of seeing how much you can take before you break. In college you are faced with exams that test every inch of your knowledge, homework that takes hours upon hours to complete, and study nights that push your sleep limits. All of this while juggling work and a social life. It can get pretty hectic, but I think that in college, everyone can understand these phases when the weeks get tough.
1. You've pulled one too many all nighters lately and you're at the point where you need sleep more than you need water.
2. You've contemplated everything and you think your best option is to leave while you can.
3. You decide to not drop out, but you still don't know how you're going to go on.
4. You're up late studying (again) and you've realized that there is only one cure for your studying pains.
5. You begin to think back and all you want is to be in kindergarten again when you were ensured a nap time.
6. You count down the days for your next break.
7. You've got a test tomorrow and you still don't know what you're studying for.
8. C's may get degrees, but when you get your test back, you hit this stage.
9. And when you get your test back and it's not what you wanted, your heart breaks into a million different pieces.
10. You finally finish all of your exams for the week and you want to have fun, but you just can't.
11. You get home and this is you.
12. Sleep is your only option at this point.
13. When you finally wake up from your 12-hour nap.
14. The weekend is here and you're determined to get over the bad week that you had.
15. And then you wake up Monday morning to repeat the entire process.
College can be tiring, stressful, and downright miserable at times, but in the end, this one moment is stuck in the back of our heads.
And this one moment and that piece of paper will make all of the sleepless nights worth it in the end.
