The hit Netflix series Stranger Things has taken the world by storm.

The new season was only released a few weeks ago, and it has already created major waves in the world of television and social media. Much like the majority of the world, I am completely and utterly obsessed. From Steve’s transition from hair-crazed jerk to overly-protective mother of 4 teenagers, to Johnathan and Nancy’s weird crime-fighting hookup, the character development was amazing. There’s even some new editions (Max, Billy, and my fav, Bob). With all of these important characters, I think it’s time we evaluate just how important they are.

So let’s take a look at the best and worst characters of Stranger Things.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead!

14. Billy

This one is pretty self-explanatory. Billy is a real jerk. We got a bit of an insight into why he is the way he is during the scene with his father, but Billy still doesn't have a lot of good qualities we can analyze. He is nice to look at, though...

13. Nancy

Before you get all mad at me, I really loved Nancy in the first season. But this time around, I'm not quite sure how I feel about her. She seems like she's developed a lot as a character, but we don't really get to see why. And she's STILL juggling Jonathan and Steve, like make up your mind, Nance.

12. Barb

Oh, Barb. Poor, sweet Barb. I was hoping she would make a bigger cameo in the second season with Nancy's flashbacks (or a miraculous comeback from the dead), but she did get some justice. RIP Barb.

11. Lucas

Lucas has come a long way since last season. I'm still not sure how I feel about him, though. He does keep me laughing, so that's a plus.

10. Max

Max is an interesting character. Again, I'm not really sure how I feel about her yet. I just hope she doesn't replace El.

9. Jonathan

Jonathan is still, well, Jonathan. Awkward, overprotective big brother. Though, I am proud of him for making a move on Nancy.

8. Bob

RIP BOB. The writers really did us dirty by allowing us to all fall in love with Bob, just to kill him off immediately. I'm still crying over it.

7. Will

I love Will. Hopefully, the poor kid will catch a break soon.

6. Joyce

Ah, my favorite TV mom. She deserves the world, and I really hope she catches a break, too.

5. Mike

Poor Mike was all emo over El this season. It was hard to watch, but he's still one of my favs.

4. Hopper

An all-around legend. Sheriff, father, rock of the group. What can't he do?

3. Dustin

Dustin keeps us all laughing. He deserves all the love and affection, especially after Lucas swooped in and stole Max from him. Someone dance with him next season, please.

2. Eleven

Obviously she's amazing. We all love her. What else is there to say.

1. Steve Harrington

The man, the myth, the legend. His character development was top-notch. He's the babysitter of the year. His hair is a gift from the gods. He is and will always be my #1. Deal with it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
