New to buying, selling or renting a condo, a house, a property or even an office building? Lost in the common but generally complex purchase or listing contract? Grab your laptop and search “Real Estate Investing.” You are likely to find many articles posted on many platforms from Forbes, to Investopia, to even Zillow. Real Estate has a pretty overwhelming scare factor for newbies, but when Joshua Dorkin saw this he set out to create a better, clearer and yes BIGGER, more informative web presence on the topic. Thus, Bigger Pockets was launched.

Now, with over 2,000,000 forum posts Bigger Pockets is the largest Real Estate forum on the web. Not only that, but they run a successful blog and podcast! With the site being free, they have set out to create an environment for Real Estate pros to new investors. Not only investors are on the site, but users and contributors as well, including: Agents, Lenders, and Contractors who make up this large complex community. Nowhere else on the web can you ask a question or share a story about your investment and have an answer from a friendly community member in seconds. They have taken the local investors club and made it worldwide.

Creation time was in Josh’s control; something he learned through his time marketing for investments. He understood that when you have a system of any sort, you must stick with it until absolute failure. Something won’t stick until you make it sticky enough. This site has paid its dues and made its impression.

In a market where the stereotype investment website is money motivated, Josh and his now partners have been able to set a supporting tone in the growing community making it welcoming for even the greenest investor.

However, what really has put them apart is honesty and transparency. And did I tell you it is free? Yup, there are extra tools on the site for a small price, but most of the content, forums, podcasts, blogs and even a few e-books are free! In a market dominated by costly guru’s and so called coaches, the folks at Bigger Pockets have been highly transparent, informative and free from the start.

We live in a “one stop shop” world where the Hedonistic approach of we want what we want and we want it now, drives decisions in a moment. Bigger Pockets answer that call; being multi-faceted gives them the advantage. No big advertisements pop out on this site, but instead well labeled blog and forum categories are on the home page as well an innovative profile creator than helps you share your own message and professional services. Bigger Pockets is reaching into the Real Estate community’s mind to mold their perfect platform, creating a platform for all Real Estate investors. Got a Real Estate question? Check out Bigger Pockets or call me, your young folks Real Estate expert.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
