The end of the year is coming to a halt, and college students are feeling like they are drowning because finals are arriving. Some professors are giving out cumulative finals, and some are giving finals that only cover certain content. The point is, for some people, these last few exams are vital to their academic career and maybe even future. For some of you, you might have to get a good grade on your final to keep that scholarship or to get a scholarship. Everyone worries about finals for different reasons. However, the weather is warm, the breeze is cool, and studying in the library is the last thing to do on anyone's list. It might feel like the last week is a huge mountain that you just can't climb, but don't lose hope; there is a light at the end of this tunnel. Keep a cup of coffee by your side and keep on studying. Remember, you are in school so you can get one step closer to your future career. Work hard now so you can play later.
1. Every day we wake up and choose how we are going to live our life. Keep pushing through the week and study to the best of your ability. When summer comes, knowing that you finished the year better than you started will give you peace of mind.
2. This quote is particularly for the upperclassmen, you have made it this far and you are almost done. All of your hard work will pay off.
3. Don't settle for mediocre, surround yourself with people who will push you when things get tough and when you feel like you're losing dedication. At the end of the day, your professors will notice your perseverance and that might even benefit you in the long run.
4. This is self-explanatory.
5. To the students who worry about their future and how their final grades will affect them, don't worry about that. Don't worry about what has yet to come. Worry about today; worry about each class one at a time.
Good luck to all the students who have finals coming up. After nine months of hard work, you have all summer to play.
