Finals week is a trying time, worthy of all the drama you can muster. Who better to accurately describe your mental state than the drama queen of Seattle Grace, Dr. Meredith Grey? Here we let Meredith explain to you the emotional stages of finals week:
1. When you start to question what you're doing.
Did you really think you would be up all night cramming to learn some piece of seemingly useless but of information? No?
2. When you can't decide if you should study or just hope.
It's been a rough week, and your next exam is in the morning. You don't know what's on it. There's really no time left to study, maybe you should just start hoping for the best at this point? That's not so easy to do, either.
3. When you start to get extra dramatic.
We've all been there. Exams dragging you down, and you can't see the end. Waiting for the longest week of the year to be over.
4. When you have the 3 a.m. breakdown.
Your friends have been asking you if you're good all week, and in the middle of your third all-nighter, you just can't seem to say yes, anymore!
5. When you finish a particularly bad exam.
It's like, there's no one left to blame at this point but the test itself. So you tell it what it's done to you. Never mind the consequences of the fact that you are yelling at a stack of paper, the test needs to know how badly it has hurt you.
6. When you finish the last one.
There's no greater feeling of accomplishment. You may not have aced them all, but you made it through. Meredith Grey is proud.
