Embodiment Of Sisterhood: 5 Things I Have To Thank My Sister For

Thank you for enduring my moments of neediness. The phone calls where we always talk about random nonsense is one of the highlights of my day. Also, I love the fact that we critique each other's outfits. My only regret is that I did not meet you sooner, I wish you were still a collegiate sister. Having to say goodbye to you last year goes down in my book as one of the hardest moments in my life. I miss curling up in your bed after chapter for just some random chit chat.

True Embodiment of Sisterhood

1. Sharing everything

I mean we share clothes, life struggles, and almost the same back pain. We talk about our stories on life and how they have changed us. My favorite part of our relationship is that I feel secure enough to discuss my essence.

2. Only a phone call away

From phone calls during car rides to late night talking about life you are always here for me and I hope you know the same applies to you.

3. Friday dinners

Here is to those nights where we normally get Indian cuisine. Thank you for always being my date. Also, the restaurant you introduced me to is incredible!

4. Random shopping trips

Here is to those times we decide to go to target because let's face it target is sorority girl paradise. I can always count on you to buy new clothes.

5. Advice is just a word away

Trust me your advice never falls on deaf ears. I know that it probably seems like I don't listen at times, in reality, I take in every word. Sometimes I am just slow to listen don't fret I am just trying to give others a chance.

Thank you for being apart of my life and my sister.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
