On February 6th, 2017 at approximately 3:45 PM, history was made.

Elon Musk , CEO of SpaceX and co-founder of Tesla, advanced us further into the future. Before delving into Musk’s great accomplishment, it is important to acknowledge who he even is. Musk has ties to PayPal, Neuralink, The Boring Company, and Hyperloop. His interest in computer programming at such a young age and having an entrepreneurial attitude resulted in him being worth over $20 billion dollars today. Musk is most known for the Tesla, which is getting more and more popular every day. The vehicle has a sleek, futuristic look and can drive itself. It is safe to say that without a doubt, Elon Musk is great at changing the game and his record proves that. Now, let’s get into his newest endeavor, the Falcon Heavy.

The Falcon Heavy is SpaceX’s largest rocket and is one of the world’s most powerful rocket. The machine was completely unmanned and carried a cherry red Tesla Roadster with a dummy inside of it. Falcon Heavy’s job was to orbit the sun that resembled the orbit of Mars. The rocket contained three boosters that were created to return back to Earth with three different landing pads and carefully land in an upright position. Basically, Musk did the incredible. He launched a machine carrying another machine into space at a certain location and coded it to come back to Earth at a certain location without a human physically in the rocket. Musk had seen his rockets fail before and would not have been surprised if the rocket would have blown up. Since there are three attachments (boosters) on the rocket, if one booster had a complication, the plan would have failed.

Surprisingly, this was not all over the news like I thought it would have been. People do not understand that this was history in the making right before our eyes. Falcon Heavy has the ability to lift almost a fully loaded 737 jetliner completed with passengers, luggage, and fuel to orbit. This advances history because soon enough, there will be unmanned trips taken to space. As a matter of fact, Musk’s SpaceX campaign is scheduled to put a million humans on Mars by 2062. This means that if you are in college, by the time we are in our '60s, we will be able to see humans from Earth exploring Mars! Also, the Falcon Heavy will be able to send larger probes into far outer space at a much cheaper cost and more rapidly. This means that we will be able to explore more life in space than what we already know.

It is going to be very interesting to see where our world will be a couple decades from now. Exploring space always seemed like something only NASA could do, but now if you have the funds to visit space, you can definitely do that. Our world has advanced so much already within this past decade and it is safe to say that this is just the beginning.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
