Ever since I got to college, I feel like my phone dies so much faster, and you don't want to have a dead phone when you need to take a Starbucks selfie.

2. Condoms

Let's be real for a moment... It's college, there is sex, and no girl should rely on a guy for protection. It's your sex life, too.

3. Feminine Products

Even if it's not close to being your time of the month, it could be for some random girl in the library, and we all know what it is like to be struggling and tampon-less. Stay stocked, my friends.

4. Scissors

If it's an impromptu crafting session or just a long string that needs to be trimmed, scissors are more of a life saver than many realize.

5. Backup Underwear

Decided last minute that you wanted to sleep over at a friends? Did Mother Nature visit sooner than expected? Either way, a backup pair of underwear could be really nice to keep in your purse

6. Water Bottle

The price of water from a vending machine can add up very quickly. Most campuses have water fountains that are also water bottle friendly, thus having a bottle on-hand can save you some big bucks after a semester of walking around campus!

7. Instant Coffee or Tea

Speaking of pricey, going to the on-campus coffee shop can also add up really quickly. When you need a nice energy boost, having coffee already on hand and in your bag can save you time and money.

8. Lotion

Self-explanatory and always needed, no matter the season.
