If you're anything like me, you have a lot of mixed feelings about Halloween. It is a great time for fall activities, cute decorations, and lots of candy, but it's also prime time for being so scared that you'll pee your pants. I absolutely hate to be scared, so haunted houses and other scary things are most definitely not my go-to activities in October. If you also hate to be scared, here are eight activities you can participate in this Halloween season without having to worry about keeping your pants dry.
1. Paint or carve a pumpkin

What better way to get into the Halloween spirit than to carve a pumpkin? This is one of my ways to get just a little bit spooky. If you're not into carving a spooky pumpkin, there are plenty of cute options as well!
2. Hand out candy to cute little kids

What better way to spend Halloween than handing out candy to cute kids? You get to admire all the cute costumes and you might even get to eat all the leftover candy.
3. Watch "Halloweentown" or another classic Halloween movie

You can't go wrong with a movie—just make sure it's not a scary one!
4. "Boo" someone

Spread Halloween cheer and put together a cute basket of Halloween goodies, leave it on a friend's doorstep, ring the doorbell and run!
5. Make Halloween desserts
http://www.annies-eats.com/2009/10/29/halloween-su...
Spend some time baking and create some cute Halloween themed cookies, cupcakes, and other yummy desserts. You can't go wrong with cute and yummy desserts!
6. Create some not-so-spooky Halloween crafts

Why decorate your house with blood, creepy figures, and statues that pop out at you when you can create your own cute and friendly monsters?
7. Throw a costume party
http://iloveourchurch.com/?p=7659
While all your friends are off at haunted houses and watching scary movies, get your pals that are also too scared to function and have a costume party, complete with a costume contest, food, games, and more! You can't go wrong with some classic Halloween fun!
8. Visit a pumpkin patch or apple orchard
Get a head start on your fall activities before it gets too cold, or go pick out your own pumpkins to carve for Halloween!
