July 4th is America's favorite holiday. It's a day when we unabashedly celebrate being 'Muricans by soaking up the sun, throwing down brews and lighting up the sky. For Stevenson students who live in-state, or who are attending classes this summer, below are some of the best places in Maryland to celebrate the holiday.
BALTIMORE CITY
Baltimore’s Fourth of July Celebration

The fireworks display at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is arguably one of the best in the Mid-Atlantic. Every year it attracts tens of thousands of visitors and is televised by all of the local news stations.

CATONSVILLE
69th Annual Catonsville Parade & Fireworks

Various events will be held throughout the day, beginning as early as 8:30 AM with a bike ride to Fort McHenry and continuing throughout the day. The celebrations really heat up at 3:00 PM with the parade down Frederick Road, and the day culminates with a fireworks display that has earned its reputation as one of the state's best!

COCKEYSVILLE

Festival & Fireworks will feature two stages for live performances throughout the evening, including a main stage featuring “Capital Style” and one stage dedicated to performances for entertaining the little ones. Organizers are allowing blankets to be laid as early as 8:00 AM, so grab your spot early!

DUNDALK

Frederick’s 4th
