I couldn’t count the amount of times that I’ve heard these questions. My constant answers are “myself” or simply, “class”. It is shocking that we are living in an era where sweatpants and hoodies have become the new norm, especially in college fashion. So when one is casually wearing a dress and some makeup it is astonishing to others. What happened to the blazers and collars, when it comes to school fashion trends?
Most say, that it is too much work to “dress up”, but I believe the extra 15-20 minutes in the morning are worth all the while! It can significantly boost one’s confidence and mood for the day and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love to look good! Try it: enhance your favorite features with a little bit of makeup and put those black leggings and your over-worn school sweatshirt away for a day, and not only see, but feel the difference!

This is my all-time favorite fashion quote (not just because it's plastered in my dorm room), but rather because it's the utter truth. One's outfit is a form of language that can describe a person's personality, interests, etc. It's the first thing that people see about you when you enter a room. You're automatically sending a message to others around you. What is your style saying about you? Make a statement. Flaunt your unique fashion sense. Stand out from the crowd.

Life is short in general, so make every single second count! Treat everyday as if its your own personal photo shoot, you deserve it!
