Everyone remembers the black/blue and pink/white dress debacle that happened a few months back (You can find dress article here). Well, now there is a new dress. A dress found on amazon.com has swept the Internet. Across the country, a female meteorologist has found the solution to their dress code problems. On-camera meteorologist for The Weather Channel, Jen Carfagno reported to Slate.com that finding something to wear is the "biggest stress of my job." Carfagno said, "Don't look too old, or too young. Too tight will make you look like you're ready for the dance club. Too baggy will make you look frumpy. Black every day is boring. Patterns are tough with the lights and camera. Staying wrinkle-free is tough. How many styles of red dresses are there anyway?"
This new dress trend all started when one woman posted a link to the
Jennifer Myers a local meteorologist for Dallas' FOX 4 said in a public release, "Some of us have very strict dress codes...so it's pretty hard to have a closet stocked with solid colors and jewel tones that are affordable and flattering," With most meteorologists not having a large salary (most are paid less than school teachers) it is great to find an affordable dress that meets the dress code standards of television. Myers said in a USAToday report, "Cleavage angers viewers over 40-something fierce, so we stay away from that," writes Myers. "There's no length rule on skirts/dresses but if you wouldn't wear it to a family event, you probably shouldn't wear it on TV."
Many don't pay much attention to what their local weather women are wearing, they are there to hear the seven-day forecast and see when winter will finally arrive. But, the next time you tune in to watch your local news pay close attention to the dress that your local weather women have on to see if it is the
