Ah the dollar store! They're everywhere! From shopping malls, to individual stores, very few people could say they've never been to one. Where I live, there are two dollar stores. Both are within 10 minutes from my house. I mostly go to the dollar store to get bags, or cards if its someone's birthday. However, other people might buy more than just things for gifts there. So without further a due, here are some things you should never buy at the dollar store! As well as some things you should buy!

-Do not buy candy! I make this mistake a lot so don't feel bad if you do too. But do you really know how long that candy has been sitting there? A while. You can get fresher candy for around the same price at other stores such as Walmart.

-Do not buy Makeup! Most stores like Target or Walmart, have low prices for their makeup. But they also have a bigger selection! Also, what's going to look better? Blush from Target or blush from the dollar store?

-Do not buy Frozen food! Same thing with candy! How long has all of that been sitting there? Also, how often have you seen a person re-stocking the shelves? You can get the same items at a different store for around the same price! And for a better quality!

-Do buy Cards! The dollar store has an excellent selection of cards for every occasion! From Christmas, to Birthday, to retirement! Also buying a card at the dollar store is a good idea because the person you're giving the card to, is probably going to throw it out anyway. So it's good not to waste your money!

-Do buy wrapping paper and bags! Honestly one of the best things the dollar store has to offer! It saves you from going out and spending 3-4 dollars on a bag that you'll never give bag! Or on wrapping paper that will go in the trash anyway.

-Do buy books! The dollar store has some different books there. Whatever you read, tell your friends! Maybe they will read it too! From children's books, to adult books, to word search and Suduko, the dollar store has it! Don't expect to find any really popular books there, but they do have a lot of book titles!

So there you go! Hope you found this helpful!!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
