The Cincinnati Comic Expo plays host to the latest and greatest in comics, graphic novels, movies, television, artwork, games, and toys. The Expo has panels, autograph sessions, and photo ops that give you a opportunity to interact with your favorite creators and celebrities. Admission to the Cincinnati Comic Expo is as follows for online pre-purchase:

Friday (Adult: $25/Youth: $5)

Saturday (Adult: $35/Youth: $5)

An Adult All Weekend pass is $60 and $10 for Youth if you plan on attending the Expo all 3 days. The Cincinnati Comic Expo website (https://www.showclix.com/event/cincinnaticomicexpo2016) also has VIP packages for pre-purchase as well as tickets to the 2016 Geek Prom and the Zombie Walk After-Party. Admission also includes the Kid Zone, the costume contest, and other exciting events throughout the weekend!

In addition to hosting some of our favorite celebrities and comic creators, the Cincinnati Comic Expo has a few things that you can't find at other comic conventions. They host the Zombie Walk which starts at the Freestore Foodbank (1141 Central Parkway) and ends at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Instead of an admission fee for the walk they ask that you bring coats and canned goods to the FreeStore FoodBank for donation. The Cincinnati Comic Expo also hosts a Blood drive on Saturday and Sunday from 10-4 at the convention center in Exhibit Hall A & B. And last but not least, Saturday evening at the convention center (Hall C) from 8-midnight you can attend the 2016 Geek Prom! You must be 18+ to attend (unless accompanied by a parent or guardian) and can come dressed in your favorite costume!

Don't miss the Cincinnati Comic Expo this weekend (September 23-25) at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
