I Don't Like Kim Kardashian But I'm Addicted To Her Game

It's the worst addiction I've ever had.

I Don't Like Kim Kardashian But I'm Addicted To Her Game

"Hi, I'm Liz and I'm addicted to the Kim K. game."

"Hi, Liz."

I don't even like Kim Kardashian. I watched two random episodes of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and wanted to vomit with how annoying I found them. But I will admit that I have a problem. I'm addicted to this game and I can't put it down. It's consumed my life and I'm just trying to outdo Willow Pape on the daily. This is what it's like to be addicted to this game.

1. You wake up and check your trending appearances.

Nothing wakes me up more than checking my trending appearances and completing a random to-do gig.

2. When you run out of energy, it feels like this.

It may seem dramatic, but you don't understand. How am I supposed to finish this eight-hour commercial shoot without that energy?

3. Your response when Willow tries to ruin your life.

Like, hello...Get a new outfit, Willow. Also I'm an A-lister and you're still nobody. But that's none of my buisness.

4. How it feels to complete any gig.

I'm awesome. I'm Kim's best friend. I'm married and my game husband loves me more than any boy ever will....and I'm OK with that.

5. Your parents are lucky you're addicted to Kim K.

There are worse things I could be addicted to, Mom. You're welcome.

6. You refer to the game as Kim K.

Friends ask, "What are you playing?" I respond, "Kim K."

7. How I act when my friends tell me to chill out.

Back off, yo. Let me live a little. Also, I can't quit. I'm so close to being in the Top 100.

8. When you realize it's 3 a.m. and you're still playing.

Some people can't stop Netflix. I can't stop Kim K.

9. Realizing you have a problem.

I acknowledge I have the problem, but honestly I'm not planning on stopping anytime soon.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
