Being a dreamer in today's world is rather difficult sometimes. I say that I just dream of traveling everywhere and people say, "You know it takes money to do that." If I say that I want to write a book, people say, "You know that takes talent, right?" I'll earn money and I can always improve talent. I know that this takes time, and I'm willing to take it.
The video above has consistently inspired me and motivated me. Yes. I know. But just watch it and really listen to Shia LaBeouf yell at you. Before long, you'll be ready to tackle the world. For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed about big things: going to a great college, studying in Ireland, and getting a job right out of college. I've done all of these things (SCORE!) and now I have to be an adult. But can I ever stop dreaming of big things? Should I stop dreaming of big things? No is the answer to both. Never stop dreaming as though you're going to live forever. That's the most important thing.
Remember when you were a kid and you thought you could fly and there was no way to come down? Keep that frame of mind forever. However, remember to keep yourself grounded, humble, and ready for anything.
Dream until the cows come home. Keep your head up high and don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something. Believe me, when you finally succeed, the people who put you down will be the first to bring you back up because now you have something to offer. Don't let them take what you made.
Just in case what I wrote didn't inspire you, go back and watch Shia again. He will set you straight.
