Donald Trump vs. Scandal's Fitz Grant

In Scandal, a popular Shonda Rhimes show offering a glance into what the political world may be like, President. Fitzgerald Grant is shown to be a flawed man who manages to run the country well. Comparably, our President Elect Donald Trump has been ridiculed publicly due to his inexperience or vibrant, outgoing vocalization of what he's thinking. Now, both characters portray the human flaw while maintaining a highly public office, and both receive negative backlash for their actions. However, although they may be instructed on what to say and do by their staff, they will always speak their own beliefs. They push to solve issues that have been debated for years, and utilize their stronger voice to speak for their country, whether they're supported or being put through the ringer by publicity. In the political world it is easy for those in the spotlight to be picked apart since it is impossible for a figurehead to satisfy each individual person looking to them. There will always be miscommunication, and scandals that the media will manage to spin against politicians, but these men manage to keep their heads in their agenda. With that, although they have been involved in negative actions along the way, they stand as a strong head for their countries and provide hope. Moving forward, they offer their countries exactly what they sign up for, a human to stand as a united voice in the wake of change and evolution for the country and world.

I remember how exciting summer was when I was a kid. I would just be eagerly waiting for school to end so that I could fly to some exotic location with my family for the summer. Or hang out with my friends every day. Or just lay around in bed or read, paint, draw, basically do whatever.

When we think of events that have transpired in the US over the last few years, a lot of it ends up in spotlighting the division in the country. However, things across the pond seem to be no better - at least when it comes to sports.
